AHH HAA!
When I saw this scout background I couldn't resist...this is pretty much what runs through my head all day. SCOUTS!! Any other primary presidents out there who can't seem to fill holes in there scouting programs? By the end of this calling I want to know the ins and outs of scouts! It's my goal. I will know SCOUTS dang it!!!

Post everything you learn for those of us who have no clue either! I am just so impressed with you being primary PRES. I guess you can't really say no, but that calling would tempt me to! :)
It seems every primary presidency I come in contact with here with my calling they all struggle with scout. When you figure it out let me know, I have no clue either!
Call good cub maters. When I was the president we called a couple (husband and wife) to serve as the cub master and the assistant cub master. They did a great job. They took care of everything. I showed up once a month to help out with PAC night it was great. The thing I had a hard time with was 11 year old scouts. I finally came across a program outline (on the internet) for the 11 year old scouts. We used it and it worked out great. All of the boys earned their 1st Class by the time they left Primary Hang in there. It is very overwhelming at first. LMK if you want me to send you anything. Good Luck!
I just got put in as 2nd counselor in the primary. . .yep over scouts! Maybe together we can figure it out!
No one had as much fun as two old ladies in Cub Scouts. We each had a whistle around our necks to keep their attention and believe me at first we used them. They soon learned that old people can be fun but strict (only Norma). Hang in there, people do survive Scouts!
Hey! It's Rochelle- I just came across your blog! Primary President? Me too- about two months ago. Kinda overwhelming, and the scouts thing doesn't make it any easier!! Scouts scares me for some reason. So, let me know if you find anything useful, and I'll do the same! Good luck!
